My first guitar recording > Final Fantasy X - At Zanarkand

I said that I would record something in the future, didn't know when. Well it turns out, it would be the day after I made that post. T_T

I plugged my guitar pedal into the comp, and it worked perfectly, so I was inspired to record something. So I chose to record 'At Zanarkand' a song from the game Final Fantasy X by Nobuo Uematsu.

I knew I wasn't going to get it 100% on the first recording, because simply, you always get real conscious about the fact that you are being recorded. Well, it took me around 20 damn recordings to get it 'satisfactory'. Well, I woudn't even call this satisfactory. While not recording, I can play this properly, maybe not 100% perfect, but much more better than this. This song starts off easy then gets hard simply because of the lack of pauses in the last quarter of the song.

I will record another version again, as this version is definately not worthy to be kept. But it is a good first recording I would say. Anyways, I was eager to show the world how I can play after about eight months of self-taught guitar. Maybe the next song I will record will be a jap-rock song, most likely Haruka Kanata from Asian Kung Fu Generation. So easy, and quite hard to make mistakes~!

haha, after 13 plays a comment finally arives.

thanks for the comment josh. Expect another recording in the near future. Another jap song, but it'll be a j-rock song with backing track instead of a simple solo guitar recording.
