Last Day of the First Week of Uni

Comparing with the first day of uni that I had (refer to previous post), I definately have not been having consecutive best days of my life - but nevertheless, they are still good days. Weather has been great this past week, considering it is the middle of winter yeh?

So far I have sold off all my textbooks, excluding microeconomics and my IS textbooks. If you want a micro book, please or any other books. Don't fail to ask me~!

So selling off books, I have also purchased most of my books, excluding macroeconomics - the shame and irony. I'm planning to do real well this semester, it has come to the point where I am determined to get H1s for all of my subjects this semester, well at least one H1 in commerce, since I haven't had one yet. :(

I have planned, and "actionised" (if that's a word) my path to success on this difficult quest.
  1. I read readings before the week.

  2. I do all tute work before the tute.

  3. I even use the uni diary - yes you heard me. I kid you not.

  4. I also even put all my lectures and diary and calculator into this folder that I put into my bag.

I'm trying to bring back those VCE habits that I had. Hopefully planning out study will also allow me to effectively balance a healthy social life along with my scholastic studies. Thunder just broke out when I wrote scholastic. =_= If it rains tomorrow, I swear it's to balance out the good weather that I have been enjoying since I have no uni tomorrow. XD HAR HAR

High school friends were out to watch 'The Simpsons' movie, I declined as I had econs (econometric) lecture, which turned out useful I would say. Last lecture, and I got out with 30mins till the next bus home.

Didn't know when my friends would get out of the movies, sms'd them during lecture, but no reply. So I decided to walk back to city from uni, call me weird or whatever, I enjoy walking back to the city from uni. I do it regulary. Most of the time I walk, I spend it speed-walking from class to class in a feeling of hurry. So, when I walk back to the city, I take my sweet time to stretch out those 30mins and just spend it quietly thinking and watching everything go around me.

As I reached RMIT, I got a msg back and it turns my friends just out of the movie. Met them for a chat, then dinner. Had 'Koay Teow', which I had no idea what it meant. I ain't malaysian and I aint hokkien - someone should've jsut told me it was HOR FUN. I saw the word spicy and thought "I gotta have it", but it wasn't even spicy. *sigh*

Good times. Was with Josh, Shawn, Denton, Wye-keen and of course, who could forget. Ladon or Ivan or Jack or whatever name he uses now; I think we'll call him 'Cynthia' *props to Denton for the name*.

So Friday is coming up, I'm gonna plan the afternoon for study, to catch up on readings and do tute work. HAHA, my dog is whining and trembling coz of the thunder. Poor Buddy.

Remind me to post a picture of my dog Buddy. Increased Demand = Increased Urgency to Post.

Rained hard for a few minutes. But moving along, if I haven't mentioned this already at some stage. Probably not. I bought my first guitar pedal. Zoom G1X.

Japanese pedal, and man it makes my electric guitar sound awesome. I think I am getting to the stage where I will record some of my playing. Don't know when that will exactly be though.

I think I'll just conclude this post, with two songs I have recently been really into. One is quite old and only just discovered it myself, the other is quite new, related to a new anime I am watching (Claymore) Wiki for further info. It is also the Anime that the song Guilty Sky - Kosaka Riyu comes from, that I posted earlier on.
